Jordy Klaassen
After completing his bachelor's degree in international economics and business economics (IBEB) and two master's degrees in International economics and Finance at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Jordy completed several internships in asset management, corporate finance and private equity.
He then started his professional career as a corporate finance advisor at Catalyst Advisors, a corporate finance boutique in Amsterdam. There, as Manager, he was responsible for advising listed and SME companies in the field of mergers and acquisitions, financing and strategic issues. He was involved in advising the London private equity firm Infracapital on the acquisition of MCS, the financing of the family-owned and crane company Van Adrighem and was advisor to Stadion Feijenoord for years on raising financing for the new stadium.
Inspired by the many conversations with entrepreneurs during his years at Catalyst Advisors and the energy transition, Jordy joined Eneco Ventures in July 2022 to help Eneco and entrepreneurs realize their growth ambitions in the field of the energy transition.
In his spare time Jordy likes to participate in marathons, likes cycling and padel and his goal is to participate in an Ironman one day.
