Iris Geijp

After graduating from Radboud University and the University of Sydney (Master of Laws, LLM) in 2005, Iris began her career as a lawyer at AKD in the Corporate/M&A team.
At AKD she provided legal advice on corporate law matters including acquisitions, joint ventures, participations, divestments and exits.

In 2009, Iris joined Eneco as a legal counsel and has since worked on a wide range of energy-related projects in the field of offshore wind, solar, biomass, heating & cooling and energy trading.

Among other projects, she participated in the acquisition of two roof-mounted PV systems in Doncaster and Sherburn (UK), negotiations for the heat supply agreement Rotterdam with E.ON and the development of biomass plant BioWarmte Installatie Lage Weide, PV plant Zonnepark Tholen, offshore wind farms Hollandse Kust Noord and Hollandse Kust West.

Iris joined the Eneco Ventures team in 2025 and focuses on legal due diligence investigations and negotiating transaction documents for new investments.
She also provides legal advice on matters related to the portfolio companies of Eneco Ventures.

In her free time, Iris enjoys sports such as running, skiing and padel.
